THE MAKING OF A PALALEATHER JACKET

Our nine-step process has stood the test of time and ensures that the jacket you take home will last you a lifetime.

1.

DESIGN

Our designer team designs more than 2,000 design drafts each year based on the annual trend. The design ideas are borrowed from European and American big names and international fashion brands. We hold the cloth conference meeting in each year’s mid-April, inviting the large European boutiques and fashion brand stores to come to the conference to select good designs and make improvement and help us decide on 200 to 300 designs to make them real jackets and to be sold on our site.

PATTERN MAKING

We have hired the industry's outstanding pattern makers specialized in leather clothing category to participate in our pattern making. After more than 20 years of exploration and the experience of serving the largest customer group in China, we now have worked out a series of leather jacket patterns. Our jacket version is especially suitable for European and American people to wear, which is designed after many improvements. Our version is the domestic European standard.

LEATHER INSPECTION

The step of leather inspection is unable to skip. Only the high-quality leather can be used in our leather jacket. In order to make sure that, we go through a very careful inspection. The animal skin is just like our own people’s skin, they can have flaws this way or that way, scars, wrinkles and so on. We are doing the inspection to make sure the leather we use is scarless. Normally, three pieces of leather are used in one leather jacket, so we do the check to make sure the pieces have no color difference, the grains and the pore sizes are almost the same.

CUTTING

Our cutters will cut the required leather according to the patterns. We would choose the middle part of (the best leather ) the quality leather piece to cut for the conspicuous parts of the jacket, and to those not that conspicuous, such as underarms, we would use leather from the limbs and belly. After cutting, each piece of leather is inspected by a dedicated person to ensure that the final garment is free from defects.

LINING

After the cutting , the leather goes through lining. The purpose of this step is to reinforce the fastness of the leather and make the pattern of the jacket not deformed after many years of wear.

MARKING

Marking is to ensure that the size of the final jacket garment is of the standard.

THE ONLY THING THEY NEED TO DO IS TO HANG THEM FOR 1 TO 2 DAYS.

STITCHING

After marking, each cut-out piece would sent to be sewn accordingly for sleeves, front and back area.

BUTTON ATTACHING

We use the latest button attaching machine which making the attaching process, quick, easy and safe, the buttons secure. The hardware buttons we use on our jackets are all customized, mostly are silver-plated buttons and copper-plated buttons.It is difficult to find the same type of buttons on the market. Therefore, we provide our customers 2 to 3 spare buttons and professional manual buttoning tools (tool kits) go with each jacket, in case they lose one after wearing the jacket for 2 to 3 years.

FINAL PRESSING

This is almost the last step that our jacket undergoes. The function of final pressing is for our finished garments to reach consumers' hands with high flatness and shape. Consumers are not suggested to iron your jacket back at home, only the professional ironing masters and dry cleaners can do this. After we iron the jacket and send them to our customers’ hands, the only thing they need to do is to hang them for 1 to 2 days and the jacket would be flat without ironing.
